Can't see....

Caaaaaaaaaan't seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

Just took a peek out my window and was startled to not see mountains. Well, I mean, they're still THERE, and you can still see that oh hay that's a really big hill right thar, but all the details are blurred out because it's so freaking SMOKY outside. FOREST FIRES EVERYWHARE OH CRAP!!!! Kinda makes you miss the good ole hurricane and flood threats of Houston. Missoula has weird natural disasters. (And yes, you can actually smell the smoke. It's a faint undertone to the smell of burnt popcorn currently permeating the room because Maranda was convinced that since there were still a few kernels popping, obviously the popcorn wasn't done yet.)


Also, the boulder thing? Yeah. Whatever asshole came up with the idea of putting a large knee-height boulder in the middle of the Oval needs to get kicked. In the shins. Hard. Preferably, not actually kicked, but more like beaten in the shins with a sharp rock. Kind of like....A BOULDER.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), none of the people that actually saw the collision were people that knew me. Just a bunch of random passersby. I'm honestly not sure if that's a good thing or not. My shin still hurts though.
