She probably liked it because the game is done in a cute, cartoon-like style.

Cool drawing, btw. The toriningen are very interesting to me; I've been trying to understand their significance in the game.

Thanks! I've actually read one synopsis that called them "the bullies," and it pretty much fit well enough that I play the game following that idea now as well.

It basically said that all the humanish characters in the game are dream versions of people Madotsuki had met in real life, possibly at school before she became a hikkikomori. The big thing about the bullies was that they don't really attack unless they're in a group or that there's something there that they want to hide.

The fact that they don't kill Madotsuki, just teleport her to somewhere that she can't get out of without waking up, sort of reflects the bully idea as well. Girl bullies generally don't DO much to their victims, just hurt them emotionally and scare the crap out of them. And the toriningen pretty much do nothing but scare the crap out of me when I see them coming D:

Have you gone to the part of the Vine Desert where three of them are having a party and you can't get to them? That seems significant too, like Madotsuki feels unable to join in other people's fun etc. After all, some of the Toriningen aren't evil.

I also noticed that the so-called "nice" one in the office that changes your color scheme IS an evil one. She's walking in place behind the desk like that because she's TRYING TO GET YOU. D:
